Humans have made inventions, scientific discoveries, range of Art using their imagination, logic, conscience. Similarly the structure of societies throughout history and even today is merely a reflective of our image, our collective image. Our economic systems and its various theories have also been an understanding of ourselves, an attempt to capture how nature works.
As we have observed throughout history, change is constant in our social systems, economic systems, human behavior and morals. We are continuously evolving and becoming better personally and collectively. We are inventing more day by day, creating more intelligent solutions etc. Its quite striking to know that the overall result of all these technological, industrial, economic and social advances is personal and collective well being of mankind. We have enhanced or may be discovered our “Life” potential / rationally speaking (as we often like to) enhanced or discovered our “survival” potential.
Everything is created and being developed in our own image whether we realize it or not. Two general terms we often use are “Good and Bad”; which may or may not be correct, are simply relative; can be subjective or merely an opinion. Its helpful to think of them as any two points on an infinite scale, or two concepts existing simultaneously in parallel universes, where they maybe same or different characteristically. Everyone is welcome to have their own versions of it, to start with. The point is good or bad, is still essentially our own image we perceive in things, just like we create things in our own image, build societies in our collective conscience, do inventions to facilitate ourselves etc.
